Cash checking business robbed as worker opens for business

UNCUT: Police discuss cash checking location robbery

GLENDALE - Police say a worker at a cash checking location was robbed as she was opening the doors for business.

A suspect reportedly approached the Order Express Cash Checking employee near 67th Avenue and Ocotillo at about 9 a.m. on Monday and demanded she put cash inside a bag the suspect had with him.

The worker complied with the suspect's demands and he was able to flee through the back door of the business.

The suspect is described as being a Hispanic male in his mid 20s. He has a medium build and stands about 5"8' and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a hoodie and blue jeans.
