Shaquille O'Neal stalking case delayed again in GeorgiaPosted: Updated:
ATLANTA -- A stalking case brought by an Atlanta woman against Phoenix Suns center Shaquille O'Neal has been delayed again.
The case was supposed to be heard yesterday.
A Fulton County judge issued a continuance on Wednesday, postponing the hearing until November 13th.
The delay is causing speculation that a deal to avoid a trial may be in the works.
Alexis Miller -- a 23-year-old hip-hop artist who goes by the name Maryjane -- has accused O'Neal of stalking her.
Miller says O'Neal sent her threatening e-mails, harassed her by phone and said he would ruin her career after she broke off a relationship with him in July.
A restraining order is in place to keep O'Neal from coming within 200 yards of Miller or her 19-month-old son.
