Lawyer who ran for BOS seat found dead in Scottsdale home

Death not considered suspicious

SCOTTSDALE - An attorney who ran for the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors was found dead in his home over the weekend.

The body of 46-year-old attorney Joel Sinclaire was found Sunday afternoon. He ran against Supervisor Don Stapley in the District 2 election.

It is unknown how he died but Scottsdale Police say there appears to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

The case is now in the hands of the medical examiner's office.
