SCOTTSDALE -- An alleged stalker was arrested after trying to get to actress Lindsay Lohan at Scottsdale's Jackrabbit Lounge early Wednesday morning.

Suspect arrested

Sgt. Mark Clark of the Scottsdale Police Department confirmed the arrest, saying Daniel Patrick Combs got into a pushing match with security.

The owner of the Scottsdale club, Dan Wierck, said DJ Samantha Ronson was working at Jackrabbit Tuesday night and that her friend Lohan was with her.

Wierck said the two were leaving the club at about 1:30 a.m., when they noticed Combs following them. Wierck said Combs, 38, had a history of stalking Lohan.

According to Wierck, Combs lunged at Lohan and had to be restrained.

Combs was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was released at 6 a.m., but will have to appear in court.

Neither Lohan nor Ronson was hurt. Police said the two told them that they did not know Combs and while they saw him being detained, they didn't know what had happened.
