RAW: Fire crew foams large bee hive

PHOENIX - At least one person was taken to the hospital after being stung by a swarm of bees.

Initial reports indicate that two tree-trimmers were working near the intersection of 7th Avenue and Missouri when a branch fell to the ground, reportedly dislodging a bee hive.

The two workers fled the area after being stung where they were able to call for help.

A passerby was also stung numerous times and was transported to St. Joe's Medical Center.

Fire crews closed the intersection while they foamed the area.
