UPDATE Police ID body found on side of road

GLENDALE -- The Glendale Police Department has identified a body found by the side of a road on June 10.

According to police, two towing company employees found the body on a service road near Glendale and 104th avenues at approximately 10 a.m.

Glendale police Officer Karen Gerardo said the body is that of an Hispanic male, approximately 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 150 to 160 pounds.

He was wearing a blue shirt and black pants.

He has been identified as Jose Gustavo Montes-Juarez, 34.

Police say there were no visible signs of trauma.

It is unknown how the body came to be there and the cause of death has not been determined.
