PHOENIX -- The brother of convicted "Serial Shooter" Dale Hausner was found guilty Thursday of attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault in the stabbing of a west Phoenix man.

Prosecutors say Jeff Hausner was out joy-riding with his brother on May 17, 2006, when they spotted Timothy Davenport, 36, walking along Camelback Road.

Jeff Hausner got out of the car as his brother circled back to talk to Davenport through the window of his car.

They say Jeff Hausner sneaked up behind Davenport and stabbed him three times in the back, slashed his face and stabbed him again in the side.

Hausner, 42, already is serving a 7 1/2-year prison sentence for another stabbing conviction from an April 2006 incident.

He will be sentenced June 15 for Thursday's conviction by a Maricopa County Superior Court jury and could face up to 21 more years in prison.
