Dynamite replica found near back door of residence

SCOTTSDALE - Scottsdale police evacuated the Asher Hills neighborhood near Cave Creek and Lone Mountain for what appeared to be four sticks of dynamite near the back door of a residence Monday afternoon.

When the bomb squad arrived on scene they determined it was not an explosive device, but just fashioned like dynamite.

According to Sgt. Mark Clark the owner of the home is the owner of Dickie's Dogs, the hot dog restaurant bombed on September 14.

The 31 homes in the gated community had to be evacuated while Scottsdale Police, BATF and the Mesa Bomb Squad were on scene.
