Valley doctor accused of fondling patients - azfamily.com's Jared Dillingham reports a Valley doctor is under arrest after allegedly fondling his patients in front of other people.
MESA - A Mesa doctor stands accused of sexually abusing his patients.
Dr. Richard Lewis is facing two counts of sex abuse for allegedly fondling two different female patients during medical exams.
Mesa police said the first alleged incident occurred back on October 30, 2008 when he fondled a patient's breasts during a pre-surgery exam.
The second alleged incident occurred on June 4, 2009 when Lewis was performing surgery. The patient told police as she awoke she had a sharp pain in her breasts and became aware that Lewis had his hands under her gown squeezing her breasts.
