Two teens arrested in string of residential burglaries

 The following news release was sent by the Prescott Police Dept.

 Prescott Residents Michael Jarimillo and Jonathan Hansen, both 18 years of age, were arrested Sunday early morning and booked into the Yavapai County Jail on four counts of Burglary.     

 On October 1 st, a home was reported to have been burglarized in the 1100 Block Boulder Park Ave in which a 42" television was stolen.  A check of the website Craigslist indicated a 42" television  was for sale. Undercover officers responded to the Craigslist ad and went to one of the suspect's residence in the 1300 block Adams where they identified the television as the one that was stolen.   Both suspects were present and were arrested.    

 Other electronic items were also seen inside the residence which included televisions, MP3 players, and laptops computers.  With the stolen items located in the house, officers were able to connect  the two suspects with four separate residential burglaries.  Investigation is continuing to determine if the suspects were involved in other known burglaries.
