Arizona college students, staff feel budget crunchPosted: Updated:
TEMPE -- The budget crunch is being felt by staff and students at the state's universities.
The Arizona state university system has to cut $50 million from its operating cost.
That represents about a 3 percent reduction in state funding.
Students can expect to see longer lines in the financial aide office and less administrative staff on hand.
ASU has no plans to cut classes or faculty, however, officials at the University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University say it's a possibility at those schools.
