QUEEN CREEK -- The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect that assaulted a girl at a Queen Creek park Monday night.

The 11-year-old girl was reportedly accosted and assaulted at approximately 8:50 p.m. in the girls' restroom at Desert Mountain Park at Ocotillo and Hawes roads.

After the victim screamed during the attack, the suspect fled from the area on foot.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s to mid-30s, 6 feet tall with a thin build. He is clean-shaven with short hair and green-blue eyes.

The suspect was last seen wearing dark blue or black jeans with tears in both knees, a green short-sleeved shirt with the words "John Deere" in yellow lettering, and a white ball cap with a green skull design.

The suspect also had a gold-colored stud earring in each earlobe.
