Man suffers life-threatening injuries after being struck by carPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX - A man who was hit by a car is recoveringin the hospital.
It happened about at 8:30 p.m. Saturday night near 75th Avenue and Peoria.
According to police, a man dressed in all black darted across the street outside of the crosswalk when he was hit.
The driver, who was uninjured, reportedly stopped immediately. The man that was struck was flown to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Now police are urging others to be careful. "If you're going to cross, do your best to cross at a crosswalk.If you don't, take those extra few seconds, make sure you can get across the street clearly."
Police say the victim did not have any identification on him.
