Man linked to 4 car burglaries and stolen vehicle arrested

CHANDLER - A four-month-investigation has led to the arrest of a man accused of stealing cars.

The Chandler Police Stolen Vehicle Unit arrested 32-year-old Kenneth Neil Aceves, a Phoenix resident, after serving a search warrant at his home.

Detectives conducted surveillance on Aceves and were able to link him to four vehicle burglaries and another stolen vehicle.

On Oct. 15 police served a search warrant at the suspect's home in the 5200 S. block of 47th Place. Evidence was recovered connecting Aceves to several vehicle burglaries, including an $80,000 custom-built dragster.

Aceves has been booked into an MCSO jail and faces four counts of burglary, identity theft, possession of stolen credit cards, and two counts of stolen property, theft of a means of transportation and prohibited possessor.
