UPDATE: 8:45 P.M.: Ramona Ramos was found by a concerned citizen who is also a registered nurse. Ramos had reportedly walked to Sun City looking for a house she thought she and her husband had bought. Ramos was in good health and returned safely to her family who were thankful to everyone involved in her rescue.
GLENDALE -- Police are searching for a Glendale woman who has been missing since Monday, and they're hoping the public can help them.
Ramona Ramos is 51, but she has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old because of a traumatic brain injury.
She was last seen at about 2:30 Monday afternoon at her home near Maryland and 44th avenues. According to police, she left for a walk and never returned.
While investigators said there are no signs of foul play, they also said it is unusual for Ramos to leave her house for more than an hour.
Ramos, an hispanic woman, is five feet tall and weighs 150 pounds. She has gray hair, and was last seen wearing a light brown shirt and gray pants.
