Leinart throws 3 interceptions, but Cardinals still beat struggling Raiders 24-0Posted: Updated:
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- After throwing threw three interceptions in less than two quarters against Oakland Saturday, the question now is whether Matt Leinart will remain the starting quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals.
Leinart entered the game with the lead over Kurt Warner in the competition for the Cardinals starting job.
Coach Ken Whisenhunt may have to rethink that.
Leinart finished the game with only one more completion to his receivers than he had to Raiders defenders, going 4-for-12 for 24 yards.
Warner attempted just four passes, completing two for 40 yards before giving way to the third string quarterback.
Arizona now has a 2-1 record after beating Oakland 24-zip with one pre-season game remaining Saturday night at home against the Denver Broncos.
