Worker falls 2 stories at central Phoenix construction sitePosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- A worker suffered a leg injury after he fell about two stories at a high-rise construction site in downtown Phoenix Tuesday morning.
The worker, who has not been identified, was putting some flooring down on one of the upper levels of the building when he somehow fell a couple stories.
A technical rescue team put him in a basket and used a crane and rope to lower him about 15 floors down the side of the building.
He was taken to a Valley hospital and is expected to be OK.
The man was working at what will be a 26-story office building.
