GLENDALE -- Police confirm that a motorcycle rider died after colliding with a truck in Glendale.
The incident happened near the intersection of 59th avenue and Union Hills around 7pm on Wednesday evening.
According to police, both the truck and the motorcycle were travelling eastbound on Union Hills. That is when the driver of the truck changed lanes and clipped the motorcyclists, who hit the curb and flew off his motorcycle into a bus stop.
He was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say they will continue with their investigation into the fatal wreck.
