Police looking for suspect who shot, killed roommate during fight

PHOENIX - Police are looking for a man accused of killing his roommate during a fight.

Authorities say that Isaac Lara-Flores, 46, and Cesar Gervacio Rodriguez, 43, were involved in an argument that escalated into a fist fight on August 7 at the 1000 block of 43rd Avenue. The men were roommates and reportedly were arguing over a utility bill.

Police say that Rodriguez, at one point, went into the trailer and produced a handgun before shooting Flores numerous times in the chest and torso.

The suspect fled from the scene in a blue 1989 Nissan 240 SX, which was found in the 8900 block of 12th Street.

Police need the public's help locating Rodriguez who remains outstanding.
