Vacant mobile home destroyed in suspicious firePosted: Updated:
BULLHEAD CITY -- A vacant mobile home in Bullhead City went up in flames shortly before 1 a.m. Thursday.
Bullhead City Fire Department spokesman Larry Tunforss said firefighters and two rescue ambulances responded to a reported house fire near Swan and Del Rey drives.
Firefighters found a mobile home fully engulfed in flames.
A jet boat in the front yard was damaged in the fire.
Tunforss said the home was vacant and new owners were in the process of moving in.
There were no injuries to firefighters.
Tunforss said the fire marshal was called to the scene for an investigation. This fire is considered suspicious and the investigation will continue with the Bullhead City Police Department.
The home was a total loss. The estimated loss is between $20,000 and $25,000.
