Teen hit by car, left for dead in Phx. streetPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Police are looking for a suspect after a teenager was hit by a vehicle and left in the street.
The boy was hit near the intersection of 38th avenue and Oregon.
The boy is 14 years old and was walking home from school.
Witnesses say that the car was going 40-50mph and ran a red light when it hit the teen.
The collision threw the boy 10 feet into the air and took the side view mirror off of the vehicle.
The boy was transported to the hospital and has non life-threatening injuries.
Police are looking for a black car that is missing a side view mirror.
