Early voting ballots being mailed to Ariz. voters

PHOENIX -- The mailing of early ballots for the Nov. 4 general election in Arizona began Thursday.

The Secretary of State's Office says any registered voter can request an early ballot by telephone, mail or fax, and in some cases online, until 5 p.m. on Oct. 24.

The office says completed ballots must be received by county recorders by 7 p.m. on election day, or they can be dropped off at any polling place in the voter's county of residence before the polls close on Nov. 4.
