Webb, Harden satisfied with outings in Cubs' win

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Brandon Webb and Rich Harden weren't perfect, just good enough to pronounce themselves on target in preparation for the regular season.

Micah Hoffpauir's three-run homer marred Webb's best outing of the spring in the Chicago Cubs' 10-7 victory over Arizona on Sunday. They were the only runs allowed by the Diamondbacks' ace, who gave up four hits in four innings, striking out four and walking two.

Harden, in his second spring start, retired the first six he faced before struggling with his control. He gave up three runs and three hits, including Chris Snyder's solo homer, while striking out three and walking three in 2 2-3 innings. He also walked in a run.
