PHOENIX -- Investigators are trying to figure out why a house caught fire twice in less than 24 hours.

Firefighters were called out to the home near 16th Avenue and Earll Drive at about 3 a.m. They had been at the same house just a few hours earlier.

Crews were able to keep the flames from spreading to adjacent homes.

Firefighters said the home was vacant.

No injuries were reported.

A fire investigator is looking into the fires.
