Amber Alert issued for 1-yr-old girl
PHOENIX - The Amber Alert issued on Friday afternoon has been canceled by Tempe Police.
One-year-old Kalaya Dunston was found in oood health, along with her biological mother, Willniesha. They were located near 19th Avenue and Maldonado in Phoenix.
Willniesha was taken into custody.
TEMPE - Tempe police have issued an Amber Alert for a 1-year-old little girl.
Police are looking for the child's 20-year-old mother who was last seen with the child at the Ross clothing store at Arizona Mills Mall.
The suspect is Willniesha Dunston, 5'5'', 130 pounds with brown long hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black bandana on her head, orange bra, black tank top, faded denim cutoff shorts and flip flops.
Authorities believe she may harm the child.
According to the Amber Alert, Willniesha, who does not have custody of the child, was having a supervised visit with Kalaya at the mall. That is when she took her biological child without permission.
No word on what direction they fled or what mode of transportation.
