Defendant accused of murdering co-worker rearrestedPosted: Updated:
SCOTTSDALE - The Maricopa County Attorney's Office has re-arrested a man charged with the murder of his co-worker in Scottsdale.
James Alexander Johnson was arrested back in 2005 after police say he shot his co-worker at the Scottsdale Fairfield Inn. He was found incompetent to stand trial and placed in a mental health facility.
He was supposed to be released from that facility this week but the county attorney's office has chosen to bring charges against him of first-degree murder and armed robbery.
