PHOENIX -- Police are searching for a man they say was taken from his West Phoenix apartment by force late Monday night.

Investigators believe Eradis Martinez-Ordanez was kidnapped at gunpoint.

Police said two armed men busted into Martinez-Ordanez' apartment at 19th and Glendale avenues just before midnight.

Those two men forced the victim into their car, a white four door Crown Victoria or similar Mercury vehicle.

Shots were fired in the course of the kidnapping, said Officer Jonathan Howard of the Phoenix Police Department.

Investigators are concerned that the victim might be seriously hurt because they found quite a bit of blood in his bedroom.
