Ultralight pilot killed in crash identified - The pilot killed in an ultralight plane crash has been identified.
PHOENIX -- The pilot who died when his ultralight crashed in the Tonto National Forest northeast of Phoenix has been identified as William Crosby, 43, of Scottsdale.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said weather may have been a factor.
The crash occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the community of Rio Verde, just northeast of Fountain Hills.
