WYOMING, Mich. (AP) -- A 29-year-old soldier from Michigan has died after collapsing during a road march in southern Arizona.
The Army identifies her as Pfc. Moneeka Mayo of Wyoming, Mich. The Grand Rapids Press reported Tuesday that she had two children and two stepchildren with her husband, Delano VanderGeld.
The soldier was stationed at Fort Huachuca in Arizona and assigned to Company A, Unmanned Aircraft Systems Training Battalion.
