PHOENIX -- Residents of a Phoenix neighborhood spent part of Thursday evening at a nearby McDonald's after being evacuated from their homes.

It all started around 7 p.m. when Phoenix police got a call about a domestic dispute between Donald miskiel, 45, and his girlfriend.

When police arrived at the house on Windsor Avenue near 56th Avenue, they found Miskiel holding several adults inside and they believed he was armed.

He eventually let them all go.

Officers sent in one of their K-9s and it ended up biting Miskiel. Police then took him into custody.
