MESA -- Two men robbed a Mesa motel early Monday morning then fled on bicycles.
According to police, two men knocked on the door of the Best Western Motel near Main Street and Gilbert Road about 4:30 a.m. and told the night clerk they wanted to rent a room.
The clerk opened the door and let them into the lobby.

The other suspect ran toward the lobby door and acted as a lookout.
The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspects fled from the motel on bikes.

The other suspect is described as Hispanic, 19 to 20 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 120 pounds with brown hair.
