ASU journalism school, dorm openingPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Arizona State University's downtown campus in Phoenix is set to take shape.
A 13-story dorm and a new facility for the university's journalism school will open for the first time this semester.
That means as many as 1,500 students will be living on campus and hanging around downtown.
Students have begun moving into a 576-bed tower called Taylor Place.
Most of the students will be enrolled at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, which moved into a new $71 million building this summer.
