OAK CREEK - On December 4, at approximately 4 A.M., Yavapai County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a reported robbery at the "Circle K" convenience located in the 6000 block of Hwy 179, near Bell Rock Blvd., in the Village of Oak Creek. The clerk told deputies he was in the back office of the store when he noticed, via security monitor, a person wearing trash bags entering the store. The clerk exited the office, went to the counter and asked this person if he needed any help. The man replied by demanding all the cash in the register be given to him in a bag. The clerked complied and the man ran from the store with the cash in hand.

The clerk described person as a male, about 6' tall, wearing a white shirt around his head with cut outs around his eyes. The man had black garbage bags duct taped to his entire body, including around his hands, making it difficult for the clerk to determine skin color. The suspect also spoke limited English and with an accent, but the clerk was not sure what type accent he had.

The suspect was last seen running away in the field next to the store. YCSO Deputies and Sedona Police Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. Then investigation is active and ongoing.
