Woman was in town for a wedding

MESA - Family members of a woman killed in a hit-and-run are asking the people responsible to turn themselves in.

The deadly accident happened late Friday night near Alma School and Guadalupe.

So instead of celebrating a wedding, the family was mourning the loss of an aunt.

Eloisa Flores, 48, was in town from California for that wedding but on her way to a family member's house an unknown driver hit her car, ejecting her and several of her children.

The suspect's car is registered in New Mexico. If you have any information, you are urged to call Mesa police.
