Firefighters were called to Eagle Manufacturing near Kyrene and Warner roads Saturday morning.
The company makes springs for garage doors. According to fire officials, a scrubber vent got clogged and sent smoke pouring from the building.
Because of today's extreme temperatures, extra firefighters were called out to avoid heat exhaustion.
Normally four engine companies would be called to deal with kind of fire. Today, a total of 16 helped.
