Police track down vehicle, arrest three burglary suspects

SURPRISE - The following is a release from the Surprise Police Department:

On December 16 at 0330 hours the owner of the residence located in the 14100 N. Gil Balcomb, observed an unknown black male wearing a red shirt and a dark in color jacket come crawling through a window in the home.

The homeowner came face-to-face with the suspect, who then fled from the residence on foot. The homeowner witnessed the subject enter a waiting vehicle parked in the street. The homeowner described the vehicle as a white sports car with a loud exhaust. The vehicle left the area southbound on Dysart Road from the area.

Surprise Police Patrol Officers responded to the call and began an immediate search of the area for the vehicle and after a few minutes, located a vehicle matching the description provided by the victim. A traffic stop was conducted on a White, 2005 Dodge Neon. After an on-scene investigation it was determined that the vehicle and subjects to be the involved parties to the crime.

All three subjects/occupants were arrested for the Residential Burglary.

Arrested were:

19 year old, John Mesa from Phoenix Az.

23 year old, Billy Ray Young Jr. from Phoenix Az.

19 year old, Helen K. Ahumada from Mesa Az.

All three subjects were transported to the 4th Avenue Jail facility and booked on related charges.
