PHOENIX - A detention officer has been arrested and is accused of providing drugs to an inmate.

Ryan White, 27, had been with the Maricopa County Sheriff's office for four years. He now faces two felonies including charges of promoting jail contraband and assisting in a criminal syndicate.

While working at the Fourth Avenue Jail, White reportedly befriended an inmate and agreed to supply cocaine.

Detectives say White allegedly smuggled cocaine into the jail in his uniform pocket.

Two women accomplices were also arrested. Rebecca Real, 29, and Priscilla Martinez, 24, were friends and roommates of the inmate who was receiving the drugs. Real and Martinez allegedly convinced White into supplying their friend with cocaine in exchange for sexual favors.
