Phoenix police seek "Red Head Bandit" who robbed 3 banks

The following is a press release from the Phoenix Police Department:

PHOENIX -- Robbery Detectives are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who has robbed three banks.

Incidents:

1. 6-18-08 2:46pm 2198 E Camelback Rd

2. 7-8-08 3:26pm 2198 E Camelback Rd

3. 7-24-08 11:12am 2425 E Camelback Rd

Suspect: W/M, 25-35 years old, 6'0-6'5, 150 -180 lbs, shoulder length strawberry blonde hair (very red), the hair is not a wig, goatee and sideburns. The suspect wears a black business suit with a white collared shirt, black, pink or purple tie and pulls his hair back. We believe that the suspect may live in the area of 24th St and Camelback because of where the crimes are occurring but we are not certain.

On the listed dates and times the robber went into the banks dressed in a black business suit. He sits in the lobby and then approaches the teller with a demand note for money. The suspect robs the bank, then leaves running from the bank. There have been no injuries, and no weapon or vehicle has been seen. Anyone with information on the Red Head Bandit is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS, 480-TESTIGO.
