4 Men in their 20s found shot in Glendale

GLENDALE - Several people are in the hospital after a shooting in Glendale.

Both Glendale and Phoenix police responded at around 11 p.m. on Saturday near 43rd Avenue and Northern. When they got there officers found four people who had been shot. All of the victims were men in their 20s.

Police tell 3TV some of their injuries were life-threatening.

Juan Almarez, a witness, explains, "Came over here, they were rushing people inside the ambulances, and more fire trucks and more ambulances were pouring in, just loading people up."

Also, a Phoenix police officer was hurt when he tried to detain a suspect but is expected to be okay.

Investigators are trying to figure out what sparked the shooting.
