PHOENIX -- Two traffic stops in Anthem led Maricopa County sheriff's deputies to a suspected drop house in Phoenix.

When all was said and done, nearly 50 illegal immigrants were in custody.

When sheriff's deputies raided a home near 29th Avenue and Indian School Road Monday night, they discovered 17 suspected illegal immigrants inside.

The undocumented worker told the Department of Public safety that coyotes had been holding them at gunpoint.

The victims ranged in age from late teens to early 30s.

No injuries were reported.

The sheriff's office went to the home after receiving a tip when they made two traffic stops near Interstate 17 and Anthem. During those stops, more than 30 suspected illegal immigrants were taken into custody.
