Caf owner accused of using patron's credit cardsPosted: Updated:
CHANDLER - The owner of a caf is accused of using customer's credit cards to make purchases and then sell the items online.
Chandler Police says their Financial Crimes Unit is conducting the investigation. Andrew Paparella, Jr., 36, was arrested for credit card fraud and booked into the Maricopa County jail on April 1.
Paparella would allegedly use patron's credit cards he would obtain at his business, Citrus Caf, located at 2330 N. Alma School Rd. in Chandler.
He is accused of using the credit card numbers to make purchases online and had the items delivered at vacant homes. Authorities say the suspect would then pick-up the items and sell them on EBay.
It is possible he may face additional charges.
