PRESCOTT -- On November 19, 2008, Prescott Police Detectives arrested 24-year-old Raymond R. Farradzs and 19-year-old Audry L. Graveline for assaulting and injuring Graveline's 1-year-old son and for failing to get him medical attention after the assault.
On November 17, 2008, Police received information that the young boy was injured at a trailer on Lorraine Drive in Prescott. The caller believed the child had been injured the day before. Officers immediately responded to the trailer; however, the mother and her boyfriend fled with the injured child prior to their arrival. On November 19, 2008, Investigators tracked the suspects to a possible location in Paulden and Yavapai County Sheriff Deputies located the suspects and the young boy.
The mother, Audry Graveline and her boyfriend, Raymond Farradzs were taken into custody. The child had a possible broken nose and both his eyes were swollen and black. The child was taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. He also received a full examination to see if he had any prior injuries. The results are not known at this time.
Audry Graveline who was mainly concerned with protecting her boyfriend was arrested for a felony charge of Deprivation of Medical Attention (Child Neglect).
Raymond Farradzs who repeatedly struck the 1-year-old in the face was arrested for Child Abuse and Deprivation of Medical Attention.
Graveline and Farradzs were booked into Yavapai County Jail.
