UPDATE: Man with short-term memory problem returns home

UPDATE:

PHOENIX -- Vincente Flores Valenzuela has returned home.

Police say he returned home Thursday at 9:30 a.m. He said he slept in a park but did not know where.

ORIGINAL REPORT:

The following is a press release from the Phoenix Police Department:

MISSING PERSON: Vincente Flores Valenzuela, AKA Vincent Valenzuela, Hispanic male, date of birth 02/23/56, 52 years old, 5' 05" tall, 160 pounds, with brown eyes, and white hair. Vincent has a shunt in his head, beneath his hairline. This is an older picture and Vincent's hair is now white. Vincent suffers from a medical condition which affects his short-term memory and may cause him to suffer confusion.

CLOTHING: Long sleeve maroon t-shirt, blue jeans, and black work boots.

VEHICLE: 1996 White Ford Pick Up Truck with Arizona License Plate 630TNE. The truck has fading decals on the doors.

DATE MISSING: 10/29/08 at approximately 7:00 A. M. NARRATIVE: On 10/29/08 at approximately 7:00 A. M. Vincent Valenzuela was last seen at his home in the area of North 35th Avenue and West Greenway Road. Vincent briefly spoke to a family member at approximately 3:00 P.M. but his cell phone stopped working. He has not been seen or heard from since.
