GLENDALE -- The Glendale Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify a female bank robber.
Suspect dubbed 'Raggedy Ann'
More women committing armed robberies - azfamily.com's Marissa Wingate found out bank robberies across the Valley are on the rise and women are also getting in on the act.
The suspect, dubbed "Raggedy Ann," has committed a series of armed robberies in Glendale and Phoenix.
According to police, the woman entered the Chase bank inside the Fry's food store at 59th Avenue and Beardsley Road at approximately 2 p.m. on April 30, displayed a note to a teller indicating she had a gun and demanded money.
The woman committed another robbery at the Bank of America in the Fry's food store at 67th Avenue and Bell Road on Monday at approximately 1:30 p.m. in the same manner.
Police say that no weapons were displayed or observed during the robberies.
This woman is also believed to have committed similar robberies in Phoenix.
The suspect is described as a white female, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet to 5 feet 3 inches tall, 175 to 200 pounds with blond, brown or reddish-orange hair and bright blue eyes.
