RAW: Woman robs Glendale bank - Police officers are searching for a woman who robbed a Chase bank in Glendale Monday morning.
GLENDALE -- Police officers are searching for a woman who robbed a Chase Bank in Glendale Monday morning.
According to Detective Tara Simonson, a woman walked into the bank near 57th Drive and Glendale Avenue shortly before 11 a.m. and demanded money.
Simonson said the suspect did not display a weapon.
She got the money and left the bank on foot.
Shortly afterward, a green vehicle was seen heading southbound on 57th Drive away from the bank and police believe it was the suspect vehicle.
The suspect is described as a woman in her 40s, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build. She was wearing a purple shirt and blue jeans.
