Dodgers beat D'Backs again, extend lead in NL West

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- James Loney had three RBIs and the Los Angeles Dodgers completed a three-game sweep of Arizona on Sunday with a 5-3 victory that gave them a game and a-half lead on the Diamondbacks in the NL West.

The Dodgers tied a season best with their eighth straight win, following an eight-game skid. Hong Chih-Kuo (5-2) pitched 1 1-3 innings of relief for the victory and Jonathan Broxton got four outs for his 13th save.

The Diamondbacks have lost six of eight. On August 29th, they held a 4 1/2-game lead on Los Angeles.
