Roll of dice decides winner of school board seat in Tolleson

TOLLESON - The decision of who gets to serve on the Tolleson School Board was left to a roll of the dice.

Incumbent Delson Sunn won the seat by rolling a 9. His opponent, Adrian Hernandez rolled a 4. Their first roll was reportedly a tie after both rolled a 1.

The "roll" was overseen by Sandra Dowling.

The Tolleson School Board decided the winner of the seat was to be decided based on the roll of the dice.

Sunn and Hernandez each received 9 votes as write-in candidates for a seat on the Union Elementary School District Board.
