One more lineman out for CardinalsPosted: Updated:
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) -- The Arizona Cardinals' already thin offensive line took another hit Tuesday.
Coach Ken Whisenhunt announced that rookie guard Carlton Medder will miss at least four weeks with a fractured elbow.
The development puts the Cardinals in a precarious position heading into their pre-season opener tomorrow against the New Orleans Saints.
Medder was expected to back up seventh-year pro Reggie Wells at left guard before injuring his left elbow during 1-on-1 drills Monday afternoon.
Whisenhunt said the rookie out of Florida will wear a splint for four weeks and then be re-evaluated.
