TEMPE -- Tempe police say a burglary suspect left a note behind for his victims, calling them "lucky ladies."

Police arrested Jonathan Reaves, 26, Sunday after he reportedly broke into an apartment near Loop 101 and Broadway Road.

Police say he entered the victims' apartment through an unlocked glass patio door and went through their purses. He left them a note, informing them that they were "lucky ladies" because he did not burglarize their home.

The women returned home and caught Reaves inside their apartment and called police.

Reaves was arrested nearby and charged with first-degree criminal trespass.
