Suspect gets away with cash in St. Patrick's Day robbery

PHOENIX - Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a Valley bank Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect allegedly entered a Credit Union in the 5100 block of N. 19 th Avenue at about 9:30 a.m. He gave the teller a note stating he was robbing the bank.

The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled westbound on foot toward an apartment complex.

He is described as a Black male between 30 and 40 years old. He weighs about 180 pounds and is about 6-feet tall. Witnesses say the suspect was wearing a dark blue long sleeve collarless shirt with a Nike logo, black pants, white shoes and a red baseball cap. He was also seen carrying a black tote bag.
